Wednesday, January 30, 2013, 11:16 P.M. Dear AJ USA, Thank you for repairing and fixing the left front corner of my 2001 black Lexus ES. I appreciate the great and quality workmanship, the friendly and cheerful front desk, and the informative and helpful John. But one thing I'm dissatisfied with is that my older HID bulb was not returned back to me as I requested during the job-approval phone call with Jesse. After talking with AAA Insurance on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:50 A.M., the claims service representative suggested to have the repair done at AJ USA. At that time, I wasn't quite sure if I should repair my old car or not. At 11:01 A.M., January 23, 2013, I called AJ USA to talk to John. John was out that day, so I ended talking with Jesse. He mentioned that if I decided not to repair the car, then it would cost 300 dollars to put the bumper back. After hearing that, I decided to "approve the repair". Since the left headlamp assembly was to be replaced, I asked for my old HID bulb to be saved. Jesse said "Sure, absolutely." So I mentioned to leave a note in the system to let John/repair guys know to save my HID bulb. On Tuesday, January 29, 2013, I went to pick up my car and no one at the shop could find my requested old HID bulb. I was planning to use the old HID bulb, so that way, both headlamps would be emitting the same color. Now with the new bulb on the left and with the old bulb (12 years and running), they sure don't emit the same color/kelvin. The new one emits a white bright light while the older one emits a lesser bright light with a little purple tint. John saw the difference. After I left AJ USA, I emailed John at 3:29 P.M. on January 29, 2013, to notify me know if the HID bulb from the old headlamp assembly does show up somewhere at the shop, but he hasn't gotten back to me. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, family and co-workers, but little stuff like this just ruined the whole experience. Hopefully we can work something out. Thank you, Danh N

Our experience with AJ-USA was very good. Explanations about the repairs was pretty thorough. The service staff were very friendly . The turnaround time for repairs was completed on schedule. The final results for repairs, from fender repairs to paint job was excellent. Overall, was very pleased with the service.

Every thing went fine and my car looked beautiful. It was nice that the car was cleaned and looked like new, even though it's almost 11 years old. I like also, that I was kept updated on the status of the work being done, when it would be ready and what the repairs would cost. Everything was handled very professionally and everyone I came in contact with that works at AJ-USA was very nice. Well done. Speaking on the phone to an estimator is challenging. 90 of the time, upon entering the extension number, you are asked to leave a message. Call back might be slow. What to do? There could be an option of asking the operator to page the estimator if it's important.

My car stayed in A-J USA for about a month for the collision repairs. When I was called and picking up my car, I realized that there was a very loud noise as I turning the wheel and driving the car. The A-J USA collision representative told me that first they did not know what happened and second I needed to take the car to the dealer next day. I told him that when my car was dropped it had no noise what so ever and now it had huge noise. I can not just drive a unsafe car like that. In the next couple hours he was trying to tell me my car probably already had the issue before I dropped off(which would be totally impossible) or the car was already worn (and it was not. The car is a relatively new car and I've been keeping up the check ups etc) and turned bad during the time in A-J USA. And finally tried to tell me that he can not do much for me and what I could only do was drive away with the unsafe car. This whole incident was extremely dissapointing to me, considering A-J USA is proud of its reputation, provides warrenty of its service and said it cares about the safety of its customers.
