I've already addressed these issues with your personnel: 1) Keeping my car more than three times as long as you told me you'd have it. (part of that is because they had to return a liftgate and get a new one. My question is, if you knew my car was coming, why didn't you know you didn't have what you needed? I could have kept my car until you had what you needed.) 2) Trying to return it to me with new scratches in it. Anyone could see the new scratches, and that they were new. The metal underneath was still shiny. Fixing that caused another day without my car. 3) When my car was returned the second time, the "new" bumper had a nick in it that had been painted over -- meaning the nick was there before it was painted. WHY ISN'T ANYONE LOOKING AT THE CAR??? YOU'RE A BODY SHOP. YOU SHOULD SEE THOSE THINGS!!! The manager -- I assume -- did try to make things better as I just took my car because I was tired of dealing with it. He couldn't lower the cost because I already wasn't paying for it. So he bought me a new battery to replace the one that he noticed was dying. So I have to give him credit for that. It was very nice of him. However, I still have to ask -- why didn't you know you didn't have what you needed before I brought my car in, and why isn't anyone looking at the car before they try to return it -- twice!

The work done on the car is great but I would have liked better or more consistent communication about when it would be ready. For example, on Friday morning I got a text message saying everything was on track for a 5pm pick up and I would be contacted should there be any delays. A winter storm started that afternoon but since no one contacted me to let me know ****'s was closing I still showed up at 5 to find no one there and didn't hear anything until Monday late morning. It would have been nice if someone could have taken the time to let me know on Friday that it wouldn't be ready. It was very frustrating thinking I was going to be without a car for 4 days but ending up car-less for 8 days. Had I known from the start it would be that long I would have rented a replacement. I understand that delays happen but clearer communication about both how long it was going to take and why it took so much longer would have been nice.
