In 1993, Auto Plex Collision Repair & Towing was started by Danny Kimes in his backyard with a small shop that had only one stall. He had an idea to buy a wrecked vehicle, repair it, sell it, then do it all over again. After a few years of establishing a distinct reputation for quality workmanship, he needed a larger building.
About a year later, due to the increase in business, it was again time for another move. Danny remained at this location for over twelve years providing quality repairs and building a reputation as a sincere, honest businessman. In 2001, Jason Kimes, joined his father in the family business to help with the needs of the expanding business. In late November 2005 it was again time to launch another building project. Auto Plex Collision Repair & Towing currently has over 16,500 square feet. Auto Plex is now a Direct Repair Facility for most insurance companies, specializing in insurance repairs.
