Hi I recently had my 2018 Ford Explorer repaired at Bi-County Autobody. I had gone to Denny's in SELDEN , Crestwood in Centereach , and Bi- county on the recommendations of friends and family. There was absolutely NO COMPARISON from the moment you stepped foot into the door. The place is immaculate and inviting. You're greeted by a well spoken , friendly customer service person who sets you up for an estimate . From there you are introduced to the service writer, in my case, it was Traci Conforti. She walked with me to the vehicle assessed the damage, asked me questions, and was very honest with me . She told me what to possibly expect from my insurance company, once they received the estimate, and how to respond to their questions if they had any. She was also very upfront that the parts would take a while to get and they would call when they were in. In my case, one of my parts were back ordered for just shy of a month. When they were in I received a phone call to set up my drop off and was asked if a loaner car needed to be arranged. They handle that for you as well, so that your loaner/ rental is there waiting for you when you drop off. I did not need that service. Once I arrived Traci again went over my vehicle with me to make sure nothing was missed and brought my car back immediately off the street into their yard. I received text messages daily on the status of my repair process and it was completed one day ahead of schedule. They called and asked what time I would be picking it up. Payment was all done through them and my insurance company. I didn't have to talk to the insurance company once. They TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING!!!!! It was amazing. Once I arrived and went to my car, I almost didn't recognize it. It looked BRAND NEW. I don't know if they had it detailed or just took it to an extremely nice car wash, but it was SPOTLESS inside and out!!!! It had a subtle by fragrant scent , the interior and tires appeared to be Armoralled , the mats were spotless too . It was an amazing experience dealing with Bi-Couny. I've already recommended both the shop but especially Traci to my friends. Customer service is top notch. You are treated courteously and with respect by professionals. The building is immaculate and well organized . I hope I DON'T need their services again , but if ever I do , they are the only ones I'll go to. ????

I had my car returned with 2 flat tires. Then when I asked if there were anything wrong I was told no. There was a bolt j found in my tire. The person who checked my tires clearly didn’t check anything.

The person that received my car for repair made a lot of assumptions that were fundamentally wrong given the facts. For example, telling me that the front passenger was not belted whereas everybody in the car was belted. This negative attitude of the staff persisted throughout the repair process.

The actual body work the shop did was very good. However, there were several issues that made the entire experience very frustrating and less that satisfactory. The shop had very poor communication. I was told that all the parts were in and I should drop off my car. After several weeks I called for an update and was told they were waiting for the trunk part to arrive. I asked to have my car back while they waited, but my car had been disassembled and "was not driveable." I had to call Kia manufacturing my self and open a ticket to expedite the part. The shop was unable to do this for me. I continued to get text messages stating my repair was on track and yet I was told parts had not arrived by staff and the pick up date was delayed over the phone. I called and left messages for updates, but had to continue to call back multiple times since staff rarely returned my calls. It ended up taking 9 weeks to repair, over 4 weeks just waiting for the trunk part. I should not have been told to drop off my car, and my car should not have been dissembled until parts that were obviously needed were in the shop. On the day of pickup, I was told only cash or cashiers check only were accepted. I picked the car up Dec 21, during the New York state mask mandate due to new Covid-19 cases hitting new record highs. This means the law mandated mask use inside all businesses. When I walked in to the small office, there were two staff and three other customers, none of them wearing masks.
