Tesla Offers Paid Training For College Students
Tesla recently rolled out a program at Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, California that not only offers free training for EV repair, it actually compensates the students for their time. The 12 week course prepares students for a career in EV repair, specifically Teslas.
The program, called Tesla Start is offered in five locations nationally at this time, but only the San Jose location is offering the paid incentive. Considering the rising popularity of EVs, it's only a matter of time before the program expands to more locations. College staff have praised the initiative, calling out the benefits of training for an emerging technology that is rapidly growing.
Once completed, the course will give a graduating student all of the skills necessary to begin working at any of the Tesla service centers in the US immediately.
Potential students and college personnel interested in the program can visit Telsa's website for more details.
