We had to wait almost 50 days for a part to come in from Tesla and our insurance company is only paying for 30 days of rental so we had to pay the teaming days of the renal of over two thousand dollars. Your body shop never told us that Tesla will get the parts quicker to the owner of the vehicle than a body shop or business. My wife called Tesla and had the part in 3 days. I asked Tesla when picking the part up and they confirmed it’s quicker if the owner orders even if it’s a certified Tesla shop. I feel that they with held this information to give there in house rental department extra business knowing that it will take longer than estimated. I also asked Tesla does the certified body shop is aware of the delay if they order parts compared ti an individual and they said definitely. I don’t expect to get refunded for the rental but I will definitely let corporate be informed about their practice and will post to inform all Tesla owners of what happened.

Everything has gone smoothly. When I went to pick my car up Trent examined my car along with me.He noticed something I had not noticed, two items on the bumper cover had been damaged when they were installed! He told me that was not acceptable and he would order replacements for the two damaged items! That was great on his part. I am now just waiting for him to call me to bring my car back in for a approximate remove and reinstall! That is great he noticed and is going to take care of it for me! Great work Trent! I was so happy to get my car back I didn't even notice! I truly appreciate you! H. Jeter
