The curb appeal of the Rocklin location is pleasing to the eye. The lobby is on par with lobbies of other professions, not in the repair industry. The appearance of those at the front counter was pleasing. Ms. Stephanie Taxara was a pleasure to work with. Ms. Taxara was very polite and professional. Ms. Taxara communicated with me throughout the repair process, which was comforting. Ms. Taxara appeared to genuinely care about me and repairs of my vehicle. Because the repairs are hidden by interior carpet/padding and the undercoating on the vehicle, I have to believe the repairs were done is such a way as to return the vehicle to a like new condition (related to the damaged area).

Was told my car was ready on Tuesday the 2nd only to drive it a block to hear the car making a weird noise. Brought it back and the car was kept another day even though it had been there over a month and I was told it was road tested by a mechanic. Got it on Wednesday and the problem was fixed, and was told a large bolt was found in one of the tires and the vehicle was good to go. Though once home I checked the tire pressure in all the tires and all were 8 -10 pounds low. I feel after a month at your facility, the car should have been like driving it off the showroom floor. Also there was quite a bit of damage to the underside of my vehicle but was never offered to view the repairs or shown pictures of how it looked after the repairs were made. The body looked in great shape and Cody and the staff were a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Jeremy B

I had been given an estimate of two weeks when I took in the car. Instead, the job took 45 days. At no point were my expectations properly managed. Every week I was told that the car would be ready the following week, and every week, I would be disappointed to learn there was another delay. You did a good job on the repairs, but the lack of transparency was frustrating.

I was happy with the finished repairs, the car looked great. My only issue was I was told 3-4 days when I dropped it off on June 2-16 and " after market parts" were ordered and didn't fit. I'm thankful they didn't try to make them fit...but I had rental car for 11days.. I guess I bring this up because I wasn't mine. I had it during a home move/sale and didn't feel comfortable putting things into a rental. I wasn't told of delay untill I inquired on Friday afternoon.
So I guess I'm trying to say more communication would be nice. My first text didn't show up untill Friday after 6pm & my phone call that morning.
You guys did such an amazing job. You were friendly, efficient, and informative. You even went so far as to vacuum and detail my car. I was so not expecting that so thank you very very much.
This was a letter I have to Jeff Kerns regarding our service. I saw him the following Monday and was well taken care of after finding another problem with my tire. I am pleased with the final outcome, however was not happy with the service and product prior to his involvement.
Dear Mr. Kerns,
Although Doug Harris was very apologetic and willing to get me in this coming Monday, since it is now 6 p.m. on Friday evening and I just got home with my car, I still felt the need to inform you of my disappointing experience so far with Kniesel's in Rocklin. To begin my experience, my husband dropped my car off at Kniesel's on Tuesday, May 17th. The damages were estimated to be $2300. This seemed accurate since the damage was not extreme, but covered 3 panels of the car and the rim. (photo #1) It was estimated that the car would take a week or a little longer. This also seemed like a reasonable amount of time considering the damage. My husband and I waited until Thursday, May 26th and began to check in on the car. This was over a week after he had dropped the car off. We were told it would be the following week. Then the following week, it was "in paint" and then by the end of the week, we were told there was more damage to the vehicle than previously thought and so it was now "going to paint". I am uncertain if this was for the first or second time. Finally, at the beginning of this week, we were told it would be done later this week. My husband received a call on Thursday that Doug was not happy with something on the bumper and therefore it would be done Friday so it could be buffed or fixed properly. We would be notified when it would be ready. When I hadn't heard anything today, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m., I called my husband to see if he had heard anything. He had not. I called and left Doug a message since he was not available at the time for him to call me since my husband was out of town for the day. He called my husband and not me to tell him the car would be done at 4:45. My husband relayed the information to me and I arrived about 5:00 to pick up the car. Doug came out with me to the car and told me about the bumper not being "right" and apologized for the dlay to get it done correctly. I thanked him. When I went out to look the car over it was parked very close to the vehicle beside it, so I did my best to look it over. Due to the proximity and the way the wheel was turned, I was unable to see that it was not quite Kniesel's quality I had expected. When I went to get into the car, there was a paint smudge on the driver's seat. I went into the building and the ladies at the front were quick to help and call Doug. He came out, apologized and took my car back to have the paint cleaned off. When he returned, he again apologized and I was on my way. I drove about half way home and stopped at a store on Douglas and thought I would take a closer look at the car since I had more room. I not only noticed several bubbles in the paint, but also that the rim had not been buffed/polished as it was obviously supposed to be. Not only was the word "polish" still written on the rim, but the scuff marks and some paint or other substance was drizzled on it. In frustration, I called your establishment and again, the girls in front were quick to help and transferred me to Doug. He apologized for what was probably the third time today and said that he would take the car on Monday, put me into a car and make it right. I look forward to this happening! I am extremely unhappy with the amount of time that this process has taken and I am not even done. Two and a half weeks for unsatisfactory service is unacceptable. You are an Acura certified repair shop and should return a quality product every time. I have sent a copy of this letter to my insurance company to let them know the length of time this process has taken and the quality of the repairs as well. I am truly hoping that this process will be completed quickly and with great care as to get my car in the shape not only I expect, but you expect and your customers deserve.

More damage was found by tech work when he/she was taking out the driver side seat . Gash marks were in the side panel, also the seat cover was not put on right and only replace the bottom part not the back of the seat so they don't match. Not sure if they buffed the top of the car to get scratch marks out. Also this was a 3/4 day job that has lasted of 2 plus weeks . So I'm very disappointed in my experience with Kniesel.Yes Kniesel is trying to make it right , I'll see .

When I came to pick up my truck, they called someone up to bring up my truck, he brought it out front jumped out and said there you go, you need to move it so people can get a parking spot. After I got it home I noticed the bumper is not lined up correctly. But other than that, it all went well.

After dealing with a few body shops in the recent past, I must say the commitment to excellence in service here is like nothing I've ever seen before. Stephanie was amazing, they found damage from a previous collision that I was unaware of as I bought my car used, and this damage couldn't have been seen unless the vehicle was disassembled. Stephanie walked me step by step through the damage, my repair options, my insurance options, even staying on top of the insurance company and rental company to ensure I was well taken care of.I was able to get my car repaired like I wanted and in a short time too.

Price was 3X what I was quoted. I never approved the 3X increase. That price was presented after the work was done. The parts were not put where I asked them to be placed. One of the parts was not put on straight. I'm a long-term customer of Kniesel's . I've had many vehicle serviced there if this was my only Service from Kniesel's I would not return. I know what happened to me is fully against The Bureau of automotive repair. This makes me very disappointed and sad

Heard someone in polishing used a dirty rag on the clear coat and it delayed the repairs for another couple of days. If someone wants to give me a call, I'll be happy to discuss the experience.

Repairs were delyed 2 full weeks beyond original estimate of 2 weeks, making total time for repairs exactly 1 month. Communication was lacking throughout process. Physical work of repair is in question. Trunk gaps not even and rear side window trim not flush.

The service agent was not proactive in calling me with an update. He said he would call on Monday with an update, and I had to follow-up the following Wednesday and left a message. He said he did not have my number (but It was on file) so he called my husband Wednesday- still two days after commit date. If that was the case he should have asked my husband for my number. When I went to view my car, it was unlocked. But I had been told it would be locked and secure while on your site. I had cash in the car and other personal items that were at risk. If you all were so busy you should have pulled In more staff to help or notified me there would be a week's delay before you even looked at my car. I will be rating you on Yelp so others are aware of my less than positive experience.

All the folks at Kniesel's are great and I have had always has a wonderful experience. Not sure why but this time it took 3 weeks to complete the repair when initially it was planned to be completed in 2 weeks. On Dec 14 I receive a e-mail telling me that my car is almost complete and if there are any delays you will call me right away. It was estimated that I could pick up the car on Dec. 16th. Did not hear from anyone so on Dec. 15th I called to confirm and was told there was a delay and it would not be ready until Dec. 18th or 19th and I would get a call in advance to confirm. Dec. 17th came without a call so I call to confirm pick up and was told there was another delay and it would not be ready until Dec. 23rd. On The afternoon of Tuesday Dec. 22nd I called to confirm and was told that it would not be ready for pick up until Dec. 23rd or the morning of Dec. 24th at the latest. The morning of Dec. 23rd I called stated that I need the car by close of business Wednesday Dec. 23rd. I was assured that the car will be ready that afternoon. Received a call that afternoon confirming the car would be ready. Picked up my car Wednesday close of business. I understand that delays can happen. In this case it would have been a better customer experience if there was better communication on your end. I was left thinking that the delays were because it was a difficult repair but not really sure. Hope this helps and you enjoy a happy New Year's Day holiday.

Cody was amazing from start to finish. The level of service I got here was better then anything I have ever experienced. Cody called me everyday to give me an update on my car. The work done on my car was superb. The car was clean and perfect when I picked it up. Oh and the girls at the front desk have to be the nicest people ever. I love this place.

I was told someone would update me every couple of days via phone, text or email... I got nothing and had to call a couple of times to get info... I was told the repair would be 4 or 5 days.. I called day 5 and was told it would be done in 2 days.. I had to call again in 2 days and was told 1 more day... A little communication would have been nice...

The work done to my vehicle is very appealing. I was preparing my vehicle to go on vacation before the incident happened. The vehicle detail went better than imaginable. You folks finished areas that I hadn't time to get too. When I raised the hood I was just smiled. No overspray for me to clean up. For some reason though the new decal that shows the appropriate position of the serpintine belt is smeared. The paint on the roof. What can I say, WOW! So much better than the original paint when I bought the truck with 28k miles.
Thank you for everything. My car looks brand new and everything was taken care of. There was a mixup on how long it takes old take to repair and it was done in only 2 days which normally would be great but we were on a boat in the ocean and had a rental car because we were told it would be 5-7 days for repair. Thankfully Tom took care of everything and we were very well taken care of. All the staff were exceptional and I would recommend your business to anyone! Thank you

My car has pearl paint. The paint used by Kneisels doesn't match. Its metallic but not a pearl paint.

I am so impressed with the service from Kniesel's collision center! The customer service was beyond great and I felt like they truly cared about me and my car. So friendly and helpful. Stephanie Taxara and the lady at the front desk were wonderful and really made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them. They were very informative and patient. They even went out of their way to pick up my grandpa so he could get my car while I was at work. I couldn't of asked for a better experience! Thank you so much! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! :)
