The final price was 2x the verbal estimate. The estimate was for $10K but USAA required a used door. The used door had to have dents pulled and Bondo/filler applied - this is shoddy work for a luxury SUV. Final price was not lowered in spite of the beat-up door used. Was told that the taillight was already installed and tested but found out it was never even installed. Was told the car would be ready Friday and I told them I would be out of town on Friday. Was told that the car was ready Thursday afternoon when I was already out of town, and they gave me attitude that the car had to be held until Monday (one business day). I will never go back to Don's Auto Boday again. Truly a horrible experience.

I was delighted w your ability to both “save” the rear bumper, and even more so by your being able to warm and bend out the L rear quarterpanel, which saved me an extremely expensive new part. The car looks fantastic: you did a great job with the paint and at the junctions of the parts. Peter was great. While your “Head of HR” (actually, your finance guy) was extremely nice in person, both the request of “a certified check”—which I declined to produce—the acceptance of my full-pay check, but the desire to stall the rebate to me of about $3200 (because of your ability to save the quarter-panel) until basically 10 days after I had delivered the check—was unacceptable, mostly because that gentleman had be come into your office so he could call my bank, put me on the line to go through all the security stuff w FRB so I could authorize them to speak to your guy to say that the funds had cleared. Complete waste of my time, and I could merely have pulled up the app and shown that the funds had been taken out of my account SIX days prior to my being in your office. I think your (not very good) bank has convinced you that I would “call the money back” from your bank even after the funds had cleared from my account. That is just flat out not true. On a credit card charge, yes. Check, no. So it was a very lousy experience. That said, it does not overcome the absolutely excellent work on my car, which is the bottom line. But it needs to be mentioned. I looked up your owners, and that led me to think that he may has unreasonable and inappropriate restrictions on things like this that would allow me not to blame the very nice “Head of HR.” Still, I’m confident that I am right and your policies are wrong and inappropriate. I was given a 30 min window to pick up the car. Then I was left without a rental for 3 days because you are closed Friday 5pm-Tuesday 9am.

Aside from a few missed spots such as masked tape left inside gas cap area; not polished area out below gas gap area of fender & spots on new driver side of my mirror service went smoothly. Had to go back to have the areas taken care of.

I groaned thinking of the next steps after my car got hit, but your team made everything BEYOND EASY, I was shocked how simple it was compared to what the insurance adjuster said could happen for next steps. I appreciated that you guys initiated the call to come in to do an estimate, and how quickly everything went, and also that my car looks brand new post repair! Thank you for being awesome!
