This is the second time that my vehicle has been serviced by your company. I am again so pleased with the results of the repairs. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the constant updates as to where my vehicle is in the process of repair. The convenience of enterprise rental located on the same lot is fantastic. You can definitely see where they tried to buff out the damage. There is a visible "X" as well above the tire on the car. Process was also slow, but likely due to Geico (8 days to fix $1100 worth).

I took my car to service king in Woodbridge, VA to have them repair some minor front end damage. I had gotten a estimate from my insurance and asked if they would honor it, and do the repairs for the price listed on the estimate. The lady reassured me that they would, So I offered her my copy of the estimate which they were to do the work based on. She declined to accept it and stated she would get it from my insurance company. Then a man named Doug came with me to look at my car, and I showed him the damage to my Hood and emblem on the grill. I asked him if he could do it without painting the whole hood and he replied that it would have to be painted because when they pull out the dent the paint would crack which sounds reasonable, and it is mentioned on the estimate I got from my insurance. He then explained to me that the freshly painted hood may stand out a bit so I should detail my car, and buff it out to bring out the color more on the non freshly painted parts. So fast forward to yesterday when I got a call from them saying my car can be picked up. She went on to say how much was due which was hundreds more than agreed to, or as stated on the estimate. As I asked her why she went on to say that part and labor cost of fixing the rear bumper were more than what was stated on the estimate I got from the insurance company. Well of course the price is different because they were supposed to fix the damages in the front as I discussed with Doug, and explained to the lady at the front desk. So I went there after work and talked with Doug, and he seemed quite embarrassed but unapologetic, then after I repeatedly told him that it’s his fault that they did the wrong work that they are responsible, and I’m only paying for the work I asked him to do. He finally said that he will fix it and I won’t have to pay for the work that they mistakenly done. So now today a different lady calls saying I must pay for the rear bumper, and the damage to the front of they still were to do it. We went back and forth on the phone, and I drove there to their shop and talked with Doug, now he’s completely changed his story. Service King doesn’t want to take responsibility for the mistakes they make. I had too my car to them about 4 months ago and got a estimate for the rear bumper. I had made a appointment, but called them and canceled. At that point when I canceled my appointment with them for the rear bumper was as far as I’m concerned my business complete as far as that bumper is concerned. For whatever reason they still had that in their system baffles me, and still doesn’t change the fact that I came in there with a totally unrelated claim, but they decided to do what they wanted to do. Here’s the truth that they don’t want to admit. They dropped the **** when #**** the lady declined to take the estimate I bought her from the insurance company. #2 Doug looked at the damages and discussed the process of repair with me, so how could he get confused? #3 They still have old dead work orders in their system that were canceled. #4 bad customer service. To man up and take responsibility when you make mistakes is what most people would expect from a company like service king. It clearly states in the agreement I signed that they would perform the work as I have shown, and described to them. So that’s breech of your own contract. You can’t goof up then try to make someone else pay for it. Days later after contacting the BBB and my lawyer they finally released my car and took responsibility for their mistake. How is it possible for such a company to take so long to accept responsibility for a mistake that is so obvious their fault? Not to mention the anxiety and stress that they caused me being rude and unprofessional. How do you compensate for that? This statement was written on 7 August 2019 I have since gotten my car and was told that service king has no Financial expectations from me.
