From the start it was a bad experience. They were supposed to call me on several occasions and never called me. I had to call and keep pestering them to give me any information on the progress of my car. It took over a week for them to finish looking at the damages and report it to my insurance. I think it would have taken longer if I hadn’t kept calling them. I wanted to take my car somewhere else after that but it would have just delayed the process even more, and I just wanted to get my car back ASAP. At one point my contact at the shop asked me if I would prefer to have my car fixed or just totaled which I thought was very strange and completely inappropriate to ask. It is not my choice, it is up to my insurance company and what they decide to do. It sounded like he could mess with the numbers and make it happen if I wanted him to. From the beginning he thought my car would surely get totaled and it seems like he didn’t want to go through the hassle of actually looking at the damages. I just kept repeating I want you to do whatever my insurance says to do because that isn’t my choice. I got a call saying my car was finally fixed but I said I couldn’t pick it up because I work late. I wanted to know if I could have someone else pick it up and he said yes but I need to call them back and tell them a name so they give it to the right person. The next morning I take time off from work to go in right at 7 am and my paperwork wasn’t finished. He blamed me because he said I was going to call him but that shouldn’t have delayed him from finishing my paperwork. I explained, no I said I would call if someone other than myself was coming to pick it up. It was just icing on the cake of a horrible experience. I had to sit and wait for him to finish my paperwork and he said he couldn’t complete it all so he would email me the rest of the final paperwork. I picked my car up on Wednesday at 7 am and it’s now Thursday...I still haven’t gotten that paperwork. I finally have my car back after a month and a half and will never take my car back to service King.

****) After car my car had been at SK for several days I was contacted because they needed to remove my roof rack, which requires a separate key. This resulted in an inconvenient trip back to the location to deliver they key for the rack. This should have been addressed prior to the service date so I could have provided to key or removed the rack myself. 2) When I inspected the car after work was completed, I immediately noticed the mud flap where the body work had been done was not sitting flush like the flap on the other side of the vehicle. I had to point this out and wait another 30 minutes to be adjusted. Anyone doing a visual inspection could have/ should have noticed this. 3) my car had been parked outside by SK waiting for me to pick, making it hard to properly inspect the work that had been done due to snow. Now that the snow has melted I can see that the gas tank flap also is not aligned properly. It's very disappointing. My car is only a year old and now already has quirks from bad work.

the completion date kept getting pushed back for 4 consecutive days, throwing off my plans for commuting while my car was in the shop. it would have been way nicer if I had just gotten an original pickup date that was later and then if it got moved up (instead of being pushed back) that would have been a more manageable change to make! it wasn’t a huge issue at all it was just slightly annoying

It looked fine, but after driving through the streets over speed bumps and potholes, I started hearing squeezing from suspension in the same area of the exterior damage. That was not a problem before at all.
