The car was there for at least two days before work was started. Communication that they were not ready for the car would have allowed me to use the car while it was not in process.

The job was not completed as stated and will take longer and still not clear if the repair shop can perform the work. May need to bring the car to the dealer since the repair shop may not have the equipment to complete the work. The shop did not perform all work discussed at the initial appointment.
