I had an appointment to drop my truck off at the Ford dealer. When I arrived the person wasn’t there, and no one knew where he was. I understand that things come up, but it took me a full 2 hours to drop off my truck. A task that should have taken 15 minutes of work, plus a reasonable wait time. No one else could accept the truck, so I could leave. This is a very bad system, that does not provide a good customer experience. I know there are legal aspects of the dealer accepting the truck, and then signing it over to the collision center, but isn't that part of providing customer service? I did not get the customer service I would be giving someone regarding something this important and expensive.
During the repair process, there were multiple delays to the estimated schedule. Once again, I understand that mistakes are made, but the number of mistakes made adds up to sloppy work. I don’t fault you for the last week, because I know that was caused by the insurance company. The timeline wasn’t a big deal for me since I was able to do everything I needed with the rental. But I want to give you an honest review of the areas that you can improve. These setbacks could have been very significant for someone in another situation. The biggest issue for me was the initial drop off procedure and time that it took.

Keith gave me outstanding customer service. He went out of his way to get a rental for me and even walked me across the street to pick it up. He provided me updates throughout the week and even went into work early so I could get my car before I headed out of town for the holidays.
