After picking up vehicle from collision repair, I immediately encountered problems that did not seem related to accident regarding hood latch, sway bar links and fog lights. Copied from email sent to rep: Good morning Troy, As far as the idea that the hood latch, fog light, and sway bar links were wear and tear issues that developed separately from the accident and repair, I’d like to bring up the 10 Oct 2022 service report for my vehicle. They did an inspection and covered several items, but none of the items marked “failed” or “caution” included remarks on the hood latch, fog light, or sway bar links. Because of this, it seems to me that the issues in my recent service visit totaling $1600 must either be a result of a) the accident or b) issues that came about during the collision repair itself.
