The work was completed very fast and the quality of the repair was beyond my expatiation. Communication is virtually non-existent! We called a couple of times to check on the progress of our car and had to leave a message for a return call, understandable. No one ever returned a call. I quickly found out that calling on the phone was useless. Taking time to make a trip to the shop and showing up at the front desk was the only time that we received any information and that info was limited. When we dropped off the car, the estimate put our out of pocket cost at $****,040.00, with the understanding that when the car is broken down, this could decrease or increase (as with ANY repair). One of the times that I stopped by the shop, I was told that the cost, for the moment had dropped, putting our out of pocket cost at $900.00. When we picked up the car, our out of pocket cost had gone to $****,500.00!! No one ever called to advise us of this big increase, a 50% increase over the original estimate! When we dropped the car off on November 5th, we were given an estimated 3 week timeline for the repair. When we picked the car up on December 13th, we were at 5 weeks. An estimate of any kind is an educated guess. But a 66% increase in time, without any notice whatsoever as to what & why repair time increased is in our eyes unacceptable. We are also self-employed and we realize that situations occasionally alter the cost, time or magnitude of any effort. But in being self-employed for 32 years, we also realize that the difference in a good customer relationship and a bad one is dedicated customer service! On a positive note, they matched the red paint perfectly on a 6 year old car! The repair work seems to be well done. At this point, all equipment seems to be working as expected (we have had the car back less than a 24 hour period). The quality of work seems to be top notch. I expect frustration in dealing with the insurance company, but never expected the frustrations of dealing with the repair! Frustrations that could have been easily avoided, by a simple phone call or two. It seems that staff need strong training in customer service and need to develop an understanding of how bad customer service can make a situation worse or how good customer service can save a bad situation! I am thankful to have my car back and am hoping that all falls into place and we can put this whole experience behind us.

I had to bring it back because the chrome molding was put on wrong. There also was a scratch that was caused by removing the molding and realigning it.

The body shops I was looking at using were Cushman’s and John Harris. I called the Grovetown, GA location and spoke with Jan about getting my vehicle repaired and setting up an appointment. She was very helpful and very friendly. Her helpfulness and friendliness is what made me decide to use John Harris. Along the way there were several issues with the independent 3rd party adjuster my insurance company used. Due to the adjuster not doing his job it took over 30 days for the repairs to be completed. Among other things this caused issues with the rental car going past 30 days. Ashton kept in contact with the insurance rep about the additional work that the adjuster missed, after Jan showed him the damage, along with this she worked with the insurance company to pay for my rental car past the 30 days. Enterprise Rental Car was giving me the run around about the rental car. Ashton and Jan both spoke with the reps from Enterprise to take the pressure off of me. They both really did an amazing job. My car looks great. Thank you.
