Service King continues rapid expansion into California with the purchase of Marco's Collision Centers' seven locations.

Rapid consolidation is the theme for 2014 in the auto body business, a trend that began a few years ago and has gained an almost feverish momentum. This year in particular has been shaped by some very noteworthy purchases among groups of smaller Multi -Shop Operators or MSO’s.

Today, one of the fastest growing collision repair companies in the US has announced the acquisition of a well know Southern California based MSO.  Service King Collision Repair Centers, who operate a multi-state Auto Body shop repair network, revealed that it has acquired Marco's Collision Centers.

Founded by Marco Maimone in 1972, and growing from one location to seven locations in Southern California, Marco's Collision Centers built their brand through a reputation for superior customer service among its California consumers. The acquisition of Marcos’ Collision Centers adds the capability of servicing an additional 800 vehicles per month to the Service King California coverage. With this latest purchase, Service King will now operate 12 locations in California with future growth planned for later this year.

Current Marco’s Collision Centers CEO Lillian Maimone had this to say about the acquisition: "Service King chose us because of our people and strong infrastructure, and I chose them because of who they are: a company of integrity that cares about their employees.
