I was pleased with the overall result but not with the process. I felt like I had to argue with Melvin about whether a particular repair was accident related, and he appeared to be defensive about missing the damage in his initial estimate. He indicated that he would provide information to the insurance company and they would decide. His note describing the conversation with the insurance company seemed very one-sided and made it seem like I was a crazy person. I was able to provide photographs of the accident to my insurance company— which I also showed Melvin— and they agreed the damage to my car was accident related. It was frustrating to feel like Melvin was not on my team. He was fine to work with otherwise and very polite.
