I was initially advised the repairs were done and my vehicle was ready for pick up. Upon inspection of the vehicle I found that the exhaust was still bent inwards and the trim piece and rear bumper that were replaced, did not fit properly, having approximately a ****/4 inch gap on the passenger side. I was told that the vehicle would be taken back in for those issues to be corrected. The exhaust was straightened out but I was advised the trim piece ultimately was as good as they could get it due to how the aftermarket parts fit. I went back and forth between my insurance company and the repair center representative and eventually was told that the trim piece would be replaced with an OEM part. The trim piece fit better but still was just not quite right. Conversations were again had with the the representative from Ford and my insurance company, ultimately resulting in some additional payment/deduction of approximately $100 toward the overall amount owed. I ended up taking the vehicle because in the opinion of the Ford representative the repair was as good as it could be unless an OEM bumper was used but expressed that there was no guarantee that it would fit any better. As far as my insurance company representative was concerned, he felt that the shop should have fit tested the parts before installing them and essentially would not pay for any more work to the vehicle especially since “this was a shop of my choosing”, which is whole other issue. The first collision repair shop was not a “certified” aluminum welding repair facility and they had advised me that Jones Ford was. I wound up bringing the vehicle to Jones Ford essentially because we hadn’t heard anything for about two weeks from my insurance company on where to take the vehicle and the gentleman from the first shop had advised they had transferred a previous repair on an F150 to Jones Ford. So here we are now at Jones Ford with a relatively new (2020) Ford and when I pick up the vehicle see that the repair is not done correctly and that aftermarket parts were used for the repair. I couldn’t wrap my head around the dealership not using factory parts but more importantly that this repair was considered finished turning out a product to where the trim piece and bumper were so misaligned and the tailpipe still cockeyed! It was so off I can’t believe this was actually offered as a finished product. The Ford representative did advise that he would reach out to the insurance rep to come up with a resolution to correct the repairs. This was done and although it is considerably better than when first offered, it still is not in my opinion what I thought would be the quality of work completed by a Ford dealership on a Ford vehicle for a seemingly minor repair… which took months to complete. I was told repeatedly by both the dealership and insurance company that my vehicle was drivable and I could pick it up. However, the repairs were not done satisfactorily and I did not feel as if I should have to pay for a product that was not completed and still have to go back and forth with both the dealership and insurance company to try and fix it some time later. After much back and forth, frustration and disappointment I chose to take the vehicle, knowing not much else was to come of it. As far as satisfied, I can’t say that I am with either the dealership or the insurance company whom by the way will unfortunately be losing a faithful customer of over 20 years. As far as Jones Ford, my experience did not meet the level of satisfaction I had hoped.

I asked my brother to come with me to pick up the vehicle because I was frightened I might run into him again. My husband referred me to Jones Ford based on his past experience so when a colleague hit my car in the parking lot at work that's where I told the insurance company I wanted to go for repairs. I spoke with Vince who reviewed my estimate and listened to what my concerns were during this process. I dropped my car off at the scheduled time and was very impressed to hear that my parts were already in and waiting on me! Vince was very informative as he called to provide intake inspection details when the vehicle was dropped off along with progress updates. Vince made me feel like my vehicle was the only car in the collision shop which I know was not the case. I would definitely recommend on the customer service alone but the quality of work was amazing as well. I picked up my car anticipating that all my safety alerts would not be re calibrated correctly but the technician worked on my car did an AWESOME job. The only thing that I did not like was the smudges on the console area in side the vehicle but the good definitely out weighed that concern. Nice job Vince and the crew at Jones Ford Collision.

I never got and email txt or phone call keeping me updated except when it was time to come pick it up.I constantly kept riding in the parking lot and passing by on inerstate to see my car untouched for weeks after I turn it in they had my car for months longer than what it should’ve been I lose so much money with work and the dumb **** rental bc I had to payed out my pocket.On that note I had to keep calling and come up there to try to get a time frame on when will car be ready so I know how more weeks I need to kept paying on the rental it was taken so long I just took the rental back and delt with on having to deal with my wife car between me and her back and forth which that hard to do with our work hrs.My point the communication is awful and service is Awful!!!!!! And it’s more way lot more that I don’t have time to type it all they take they slow time with everything and I really think they didn’t care about my time and that it’s just a job to them and it’ll get done when it get done mind set.I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO JONES FORD FOR AND BODY WORK
