I noticed after picking up the car that the plastic battery cover was laying loose in the front trunk of my Cayman. I didn’t think anything about it until today when my car wouldn’t start after getting gas. I had to call a tow truck. Since the battery was dead we couldn’t get the car out of park so it was a huge effort getting the car towed. After being towed to a garage, we tried to get power to individual circuits in order to close the window. We were able to get the hood unlocked, look at the battery and see that the terminal had not been tightened sufficiently and had lost connection. It’s clear to me now that you guys didn’t tighten the battery cable back after finishing the work.
So, I’m out $210 and about three hours of my afternoon!
