How to Give Your Car a Complete Spring Cleaning
When the weather improves, we enjoy the prospects of a fun season, so giving your car a good deep cleaning is a great idea. You would think that washing a vehicle inside and out would be easy and it really is, but to make sure that it goes well, here is a checklist of what you can do to give your vehicle a complete Spring cleaning.

Do the Exterior First
Scrub all four tires first by using a tire-cleaning spray and firm brush. Good-looking tires are essential if you want that cool and clean look.
Wash the entire chassis from top to bottom with a car wash product and using the two-bucket method, which consists of one bucket containing clean soapy H2O and the other with the dirty rinse water.
Hose off the whole underbody.
Dry everything with a clean microfiber towel to avoid streaking.
Now Hit the Interior
Remove all of the clutter that accumulates during the winter months. All those gas receipts, coffee cups and energy bar wrappers that never made their way to the trash can must go.
Use an extreme mild cleaning spray and a clean microfiber cloth on the dash, console and all other surfaces.

Use Hair Conditioner for that Added Shine
Wash your vehicle with a hair conditioner containing an ingredient called lanolin. I know it sounds insane, but you’ll become a true believer when you see that great freshly waxed look, and discover that the surface will repel rain as a result.
Clean Your Windshield with Cola
When it rains after a long dry period, a dirty windshield can turn into a big mess. Eliminate streaks and blotches by pouring cola over the windshield and then stretch a towel along the bottom of the windshield in order to protect your hood's paint. The bubbles in the soda will fizz away the grime, but always be certain to wash the sticky cola off 100% or your cleaning efforts will end up attracting that unneeded dust and dirt.
Vodka, Really?
I know this sounds pretty crazy, but this is not a joke. When your windshield-washer reservoir requires re-filling, get into your liquor cabinet to make your very own unique washing fluid. In a screw-top gallon jug, mix in three cups vodka (the cheapest that you can find--not Grey Goose) with four cups of water and two teaspoons of liquid dishwashing detergent. Screw on the cap and shake it all very well, then pour in as much fluid as needed into the reservoir.
