Service First Automotive Ups The Ante On Customer Service
Getting work done on your vehicle is never fun. It usually includes long waits in a patently depressing room with strangers equally uncomfortable as yourself. While there have been advances in this area with several dealership service centers including places for kids to play and adults to watch TV, one automotive service shop has thrown down the gauntlet on customer service.
Service First automotive of Houston, Texas has included a lot of features to ensure that their customers are not only having a tolerable experience but an enjoyable one. They included free Starbucks coffee and an iPad bar with free wi-fi for the adults. For the kids they made a glass-enclosed indoor play area that puts those of any fast food chain's to shame.
The service doesn't stop at the amenities, though. From the second you walk through the door you're greeted warmly by the friendly staff. From there the intake process is fast and efficient. They're also pet friendly and employ some of the brightest technicians in the area so you know you're taken care of.
Not every service center can be expected to provide this level of service, but it's unlikely you'd want them to. Not every shop can afford Starbucks or have a play area and be expected to provide affordable service. Still, many service centers can take something from Service First and apply it to their business model.
