We Took our vehicle for two repairs one was caused by another motorist that rear-ended us. (This was an insurance pay ) and another self pay area that was in the back panel from a parking lot incident. Thinking we would have both repaired at the same time.
they were both very minor repairs. We knew what the first one was going to cost but we hadn’t been told what the second one was going to cost.
When we called to see if our car was finished they informed us only the one repair had been completed.. apparently we were sent an estimate via email and hadn’t responded, so they put the car all back together .
I was very upset .as they had my car for almost a week , the rental car was going back and the area that needed repair was not fixed
I was very upset that they didn’t pick up the phone and call us. Email is a very insufficient way of communication.
What was going to cost us around $750 now is going to cost us a little over $1000 because they had to remove the bumper again. I voiced my frustration but got very little consideration. They did end up taking $100 off . However
The rental car has to go back , so we were down a car for several days . And had to pay $300 more then we should have had someone called us, and yes they had both our home and cell numbers .
