Welcome to Peters Body Shop of Reisterstown, Maryland!

Peters Body Shop was started in 1987 by Ron and Dave Peters along with their father Tillman. From a small three man operation we have grown to over 20 employees and repair over 2500 cars per year. As a full service collision repair business, we specialize in insurance repairs on automobiles and light trucks as well as repairs and restorations to classic cars. We are a direct repair shop for multiple insurance companies, handling your claim from start to finish. For customers who are not insured with our DRP insurance partners, we still provide the same hands-on service and the same life time warranty.

In order to provide you with a positive experience, Peters Body Shop will handle towing for our customers and we can arrange mechanical repairs such as tune ups and oil changes while the vehicle is here. Complete detailing is also offered and we provide pickup and delivery of vehicles for our customers at their home or business. We feel that these personal services, and the fact that we go the extra mile for our customers, make us stand out from all the rest. Our family-oriented/home style experience has served us well for over 20 years and we certainly don’t intend to change now.

In order to assure you of the finest vehicle restoration, we use Car-O-Liner frame straightening equipment, a Unicure down draft heated spray booth, and a computerized Dupont Chroma Vision paint matching system which allows us to duplicate any color of vehicle. As a Dupont Assurance of Quality shop…the only one on Baltimore’s west side…our waterborne paints not only look fantastic, they are better for the environment. We use mig welders, resistant spot welders and have recently purchased two nitrogen plastic welders to help us restore our customers’ cars back to their pre-loss condition. Our technicians and welders having completed I-Car and AWS welding certification while our painters have been certified by Dupont. That means that when Peters Body Shop returns your vehicle to you, you’ll drive it with pride and confidence.
