McLaren 720S Becomes A Motor Trend 2018 Best Car Contender

The new McLaren 720S has quickly gained a reputation by casual drivers as one of the most versatile and intuitive cars currently on the road. Among reviewers it has become known for its responsiveness, with the integrated electronic driver assistance incorporated so seamlessly that drivers can hardly tell where their skill ends and the vehicle's majestic performance begins.

Unfortunately among professional racing drivers, the reviews haven't been as positive. One driver commented that it was hard to control with the car in a state of flux under different conditions. It behaved differently when accelerating and decelerating, taking a high amount of skill to keep from going all over the track. In the end, though, that same driver set a track record with his run. 

Despite the differences in opinion between causal and professional drivers, both could agree on one thing: it's really uncomfortable on long drives.

The fixed carbon fiber racing shell seats are not meant to provide support in the right places.

Still, the overall sentiment is positive without being overwhelming. This has proven that in this case, numbers aren't everything.
