How to Wash Your Car Without Water

When your car needs a good wash, most people in Jacksonville, FL will fill a bucket with soapy water, grab some towels and the hose, and get to work. But what if you live in an area with water restrictions or are trying to conserve water to help the planet? You might want to consider a waterless wash, so here are some tips about how to do it from Service King Mandarin.

2.) Decide on how you are going to tackle the job. It’s easiest to clean in sections such as the roof, side doors, side glass, hood, trunk lid, front and rear bumpers, and the wheels.

3.) Most people begin with the roof, which is usually the cleanest part of the vehicle. After spraying the surface of the car with the waterless wash formula, use light strokes to wipe in one direction rather than using a circular motion. There is no need to rub aggressively.

4.) Use a second cloth to gently buff and dry the area.

5.) After it’s dry, you can move on to another part of the car. When you’re cleaning the wheels, it is recommended to use a different towel so you don’t transfer the brake dust to the paint.
