Over $12,000 Donated by ABRA Auto Body & Glass to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – (October 14, 2015) – ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a leading national damaged vehicle repair company, donated over $12,000 to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt of Nashville, Tennessee. The money was gifted during a check presentation on October 1, 2015 and funds were raised through ABRA’s fourth annual charity golf outing on August 20th at Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Over 120 golfers and many sponsors and volunteers helped make the tournament a success.
As is one of the nation's leading children's hospitals, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt treat and help prevent all health issues ranging from colds and broken bones to heart disease and cancer. Constructed in 2004 and expanded in 2012, the 271-bed hospital is a
child-friendly place built on the science of healing, with nationally recognized doctors and surgeons who are finding new ways to cure and prevent childhood diseases. The hospital will use the gift to support lifesaving research and vital programs for patients and parents. This 271 bed facility offers a special environment for children with health issues ranging from broken bones to heart disease and cancer.
