I liked the updates I received they keep me well informed on how far along my vehicle was progressing. the wait was worth it my vehicle looks great and I am really happy with the outcome. Hopefully I'll won't need to come back for repairs but if I ever need any work done on my car I know where to go.

Everyone was really great! Very communicative and friendly, answered my annoying questions, hooked me up with a rental easily, all on top of doing an awesome job on my car. Hopefully I won't be needing any for a while, but I intend to return for any future bodywork on a vehicle I own. Thank you so much!

I was referred to Lamettry's by the insurance company that insured the driver that smashed into the rear of my van a totaled their car out. I was hesitant to use your company just for that reason, but had seen your shop near my residence so I gave it a try. It ended up that your diagnosis of my damage was just a bumper and some paint. The total damage done to my van was $463.41. The insurance company had already sent me a check for $644.50. The insurance agent had told me that I was supposed to deposit this into my acct and pay you guys out of it when my van was completed. She than said that you guys would have a form I could sign so that if there were any funds needed above that amount that they could just send the money to you guys directly. When I was in dropping off my van I had mentioned that I had gotten a check made out and sent to me already, but hadn't put it in the bank yet. Her suggestion was to just bring the check in instead of depositing it and we could work it out like that. Than once my van was completed she told me the total that I owed was $644.50 for my repairs. I came in to pu my van, she had me sign over the check, than had me ready to walk out the door until she handed me a receipt. I than noticed that the total repairs were only $463.41, and that there was $181.09 unaccounted for in the total? Chad the guy I was working with, walked me out to my van and told me he would send a check to me for the difference. He said he didn't see any reason why that wouldn't be the way it worked out, but if it didnt he would call me and let me know, this was at almost 6:00pm. He called me before 7:30 the next morning , and informed me he would be sending the difference to met life, and not to me as he had stated the night before. why are u guys telling me to bring in $644.50 in for a repair that was $463.41? Do you guys collect for the insurance company? I should have just deposited the check like the insurance rep told me to, and paid you the $463.41 I owed for my repair. The check was made out to me from the insurance company, why did you guys feel the need to be in control of those funds and direct where they go, when it was never money given to your shop, until you talked me into signing the check over to you? What happened to those funds should have been between myself and met life, not lamyttrys on behalf of met life. When I dropped my van off it was after work at about 5:45pm. It was a very rushed process because you were about to close. Than when I picked up my van, they tried to get me out of their without ever mentioning this $180, or what their intentions of it were. I had to bring it up to even have it addressed. Than I was told what I wanted to hear, and I have a feeling the way it was going to work out was already known at that point. It gave me the feeling that met life's best interest was the top priority, which makes me wonder who's best interest was in mind during the diagnostics and repair of my van. I was under the impression that the form I signed was to direct any funds that were needed above the amount I had received. Not to collect the funds that had already been dispersed in my name and disperse as lamettry saw fit. Though the other driver accepted full blame, this accident cost me hundreds of dollars in lost work and other expenses, not to mention all of the time it's taken to take care of it. This was my work vehicle and I'm self employed, so it had a major impact on my revenue lost. Your employee on the phone said" were collecting that money for met life otherwise they would come looking for it. ". Like I said before, that's between met life and myself, I don't need lamettry to reconcile this situation on behalf of met life. I was very weary about using you guys because I was referred by met life. It makes me wonder who's best interest was being looked out for with my repair. It's seems to me that met life's best interest was top priority, when I was lammetrys customer. I wish now that I had used my mechanic that I know would have had my best interest in mind. I had you guys do an estimate while I was there for some body work I'm getting done next month, I'd have a very hard time bringing it to lamettrys after my experience. The driver that hit me had $1000s of dollars in damage to his vehicle, and met life's cost on my behalf was less that $500. I just really hope my best interest was in mind during the repair process, and it wasn't another case of just telling me what I wanted to hear to get me out of the door again. Very disappointed and uneasy with the way this worked out in the end. I don't like being told something that isn't the truth just to move past questions I have. I feel like I was deceived and misled. Your employees sure have a way of standing their ground and telling me the way it is when their on the phone with me, it's too bad they couldn't just be honest and upfront when we were face to face. Dave sure made a point to put me in my place on his follow up call, maybe take the time to get me a correct answer instead of lie to me to get me out of the door at the end of the day in the first place. Very disappointed in how Lamettrys went about this repair. It's obvious to me now why met life referred me to you guys. Obviously their is some sort of relationship you guys have under the table with the insuranc company. It sure isn't the customers best interest you have in mind. I feel lied to, deceived, and that you misrepresented the total cost of my repair so that you could collect money that had been distributed to me and reallocate it to met life. I am in a business where everyone I know gets repairs done annually, I'll be sure to pass my experience on to as many as I can. Now I need to go to my mechanic and waste more of my time to check and see if this repair was done correctly. Very, very shady operation was the feel I got from start to finish at lemmetry new Brighton.
