The color of the bumper panel that was replaced does not match our vehicle's color. Our vehicle's color is a subdued pearl white; the color of the bumper and side panel is BRIGHT WHITE. We're not happy with the paint job. I'm not finished with this situation. The way the bumper fits the vehicle looks good.

Took an entire week for a simple repair. Supposedly my battery went dead and needed replacing, which took 2 days to do. I know how long it takes to replace a battery. Meanwhile I was renting a car then for extra days, and twice it would not start. Overall, a bad experience.

I scheduled a drop off time for my vehicle a few weeks after the initial appraisal and evaluation. When I dropped the vehicle off I was told I would receive a call if any further repairs were needed after further inspection. I received an email from my insurance company on Wednesday that there were $1100 in additional repairs needed. I was never contacted by Davis Green. I called after receiving the email and asked what additional repairs were needed. I was told at that time that I was going to be called on Friday for an update. Apparently, It was not a priority to call and discuss or approve the additional repairs. When I discussed the situation on Wednesday I learned that the majority of the additional funds were going to "Repair and repaint" the back lift gate. My Major point of contention is that the "damage: to the lift gate was literally smaller that the head of a pencil eraser on the very corner edge of the gate. It was in not really visible unless the gate was opened. When I told Stuart I did not want the entire lift gate painted for this minor, minor defect he went back to check the vehicle and they has already primed the area. Again, If I had not been notified by USAA and called myself I would not have learned of this unnecessary repair. Unfortunately,I found out too late to stop it. Finally, the day the vehicle was supposed to be ready during final assembly it was discovered that the after market bumper that was ordered did not fit. Basically, there was never communication about the status of my vehicle until I initiated it resulting in unnecessary repairs, increased time in the shop (was initially told 5 days and it ended up being 10 days), and increased cost. I am very disappointed in my experience. Hopefully, I will not make the mistake that resulted in the damage to my vehicle again but if I do I definitely will not be using Davis Green again for repairs of any kind. I will share my experience with my friends and co-workers as well.
