Communication was very pooor about the inability to repair the car. I called each day inquiring about progress and was told it was going as expected. My family of 4 drivers was down to one car the week of the repair so we were each day working out complicated arrangements. On the third day, I called to find out when I could pick it up. I was told Pat would call me back. I called 3 more times during the day because he did not call me back. I finally drove to the shop to find out what was going on at 4:30 after never receiving a call. The receptionist told me he had been with adjusters all day. Pat told me he was desperately trying to repair the car himself which I don’t believe to be the case. It was then that I found out the car couldn’t be repaired. I am not upset that the car couldn’t be repaired. These things happen. But tobhave the car for 3 full days and report each day that things were going as planned and then to refuse to return my calls over 7 hours is just very poor customer service. I had similar quotes from 3 shops. I chose Combs because 3 friends told me of their outstanding experiences with customer service. I don’t know why I didn’t receive that same service.
