Amica Insurance Auto Repair Assistance Program

How and when do I get my vehicle repaired?

If the damage to your vehicle is minor, we will ask you to obtain one appraisal and forward that to us for review. If the damage is more severe, we will assign an appraiser to inspect your vehicle. That appraiser will seek to reach an agreed repair price, and send a copy of the appraisal to you and the body shop of your choice.

You also have the option of choosing an auto body shop from our Auto Repair Assistance Program who will appraise your vehicle, coordinate the repairs and provide a rental vehicle.

What if more damage is found after the shop starts repairs?

The shop calls the appraiser, who will re–inspect your vehicle. If additional related damage is found, a supplemental appraisal will be written, and we will issue an additional payment to you or directly to your body shop if you so choose.

However, if you have chosen one of our Repair Assistance Program shops to perform the repairs, the shop will complete all repairs and payment will be issued directly to the shop.

What if I'm not satisfied with repairs to my vehicle?

If you are not satisfied with repairs completed by an Amica Repair Assistance Program (RAP) facility, we ask that you contact us immediately and we will ensure that the repairs are completed to your satisfaction. Amica does not guarantee the work of an auto body shop that is not part of ourRAP program; therefore you will need to contact your auto body shop directly.
