What Does an Acura ProFirst Certification Mean to You?
Every Acura ProFirst Certified collision repair facility is validated for its skill set and proficiency at performing complete, proper and safe Acura repairs while pursuing industry education and stressing exceptional customer satisfaction. Each Acura ProFirst Certified shop is audited annually by an independent third-party to help ensure a high level of quality, transparency, accountability and professionalism.
Acura Specific Training
To ensure that body shops keep up with the latest Acura technology, each Acura ProFirst shop must complete specific training through I-CAR. By working with an Acura ProFirst Certified shop, customers can rest assured that they are getting their vehicles repaired by professionals with the most knowledge, skills and experience in the collision repair industry today. In addition, body shops have to be an I-CAR Gold Class Professional®, Verifacts VQ or Verifacts Medallion shop and are required to take additional Acura-specific training as it becomes available.
Acura OE Repair Information
Acura ProFirst Certified body shops have unprecedented access to all OE service and repair information for all years and models of Acura automobiles – information needed to make a safe and complete repair.
The Correct Tools and Equipment
Late-model vehicles are often designed and engineered using different metals and lightweight materials to increase fuel economy, these materials often require specific tools and equipment for proper repair, and Acura ProFirst Certified shops have the right tools and equipment to repair your Acura, regardless of the vehicle's year or make.
Through a third-party, Acura physically inspects all Acura ProFirst Certified shops annually to confirm tools and equipment, facility cleanliness, and overall shop operation. Training and verification of proper repair procedures is performed on an ongoing basis.
