AutoBody-Review.com is gearing it up for the '14 SEMA show

Each year, I looked forward to the SEMA show as much, if not more than, Christmas. I went for fourteen years in a row when I was working in the trade show industry.

If you are a reader of this blog, you probably already know that I am a gear head, and have been a car guy since birth – especially in regards to the vintage cars that the SEMA show has made famous. I have owned almost 20 vintage cars since the first car I purchased at age 13.

Next week, the gang from AutoBody-Review.com will be exhibiting at SEMA. If I weren't so burned out on travelling to Las Vegas, I would almost be sad that I am not going with them. Hopefully, if you are one of the lucky ones attending SEMA this year, you should plan to swing by our booth! It’s # 11247.

SEMA is a show about newness. New show cars, new concepts, new techniques, new equipment, new materials, and new parts. It is the place to be to showcase your product and services to the automotive and aftermarket world.

If it has been a while since you have checked out AutoBody-Review.com’s website, there are many new features that we have developed and implemented this year. While we are not debuting anything new specifically this year, Andrew, Curt, Greg or Jennifer will be happy to demonstrate the many great features we have added since our last trip to SEMA.

Some of these features include better SEO optimization, the addition of custom blogging to your body shop profile page, a better live review feed widget for your site, and more social media integrations. On the back end, we have built some very amazing ROI reporting tools to ensure that you are getting a multiplied return on your investment of only $50 a month.

One thing I learned from a 14 year run as a SEMA attendee is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to see everything. Even if you walk every hall and every isle every day, you will miss things that you will read about in magazines, or see on car shows over the course of the next year. Every single year I would see something that I missed and wonder how in the world I missed that.

While at SEMA, we will be generating a daily e-mail blast to help you catch some of the things you might miss while attending the show. Our very own Jennifer Maimone will be roaming the aisles and halls, looking for newsworthy items, and I will be compiling that list into a daily email blast. If you don’t want to miss out, contact us and make sure that you are on our e-mail list.

So even though I am not attending SEMA this year, I can still sense the anticipation leading up to the show. Like any learned behavior, I still get that same excitable feeling just thinking of the show cars soon to be on display. As you round out your week, pack well, don't forget your camera, rest your feet and enjoy your trip out to Las Vegas for the 2014 SEMA automotive tradeshow. And of course, please be sure to stop by and say hello.
