The originally estimated time of completion for the repair was Wed after 4pm. Not hearing otherwise, I left work in Fort Worth and headed to Weatherford Wed around 3pm but when I called close to 4pm, Cody said it would not be done for another day or two. I had planned a trip out of town and wasn't returning until late Friday. Cody mentioned that the Collision Center is closed on Saturdays but said if I authorize payment on the phone he could place my car with a department that's open Saturday. I said I authorize payment but there must have been a miscommunication. I extended my rental to Saturday only to find out Saturday that the CollisionCenter had no idea where my car was. I found a voicemail late Friday where Cody called and left a voicemail (not text as I requested on the form I filled out) and his message asked for authorization. I get that he may not have been able to charge but the miscommunication meant I had to change the car rental again and pick up the car Monday, with three more days of rental. I'm not mad. However, I'm not happy with the way this went down. I tried to say something when I picked up my car but Cody was not available and the person behind the desk of the office behind the receptionist did not see me when I was standing there waiting for the receptionist to deal with someone ...so I just left. I have had good experience in the past, but it just didn't go well on the coordination of the pickup on this one. Cody was courteous and friendly and helpful...we were just passing ships in the night. I would recommend the Staff stick with the text/online updates which would have worked well but seemed to be abandoned. I was checking back in regularly but it appeared to be outdated info and I had to catch someone by calling to get an update.
