The car was hit in the drivers side. The door needed to be replaced, and it was explained that items from the original door would be used in the repair. The tech called my daughter and asked if the door lock was broken before the accident, and she reported that she may have had to push the button twice once or twice. Abra declined to repair/replace the fairly inexpensive lock mechanism.This car was sideswiped in the drivers side door and now the lock is not working, putting a young women in a potentially unsafe position. I called my insurance claims department and they agreed to fix the locking mechanism. However, I will use another vendor.
