I was a little concerned about when they told me my car would be done on one day. Then when I called to find out what happened they explained that it took a little longer for the parts to come in and apologized.They were very good about it and the and job turned out excellent. It was done well, cleaned inside and out and I'm perfectly happy and would use Prestige again definitely.

I don't know that there is any one person to blame for my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Prestige, it is more of a general disappointment in the procedures followed by the company. For example, I brought my car in to get repaired after being rear-ended. At the time of the initial estimate, I was told that it would take the better part of a month to finish the repairs and was asked to come sign the estimate and authorization to have the work done. I received the call before noon. I left work half an hour early and rushed to get to the shop to sign the paperwork before your office closed. When I arrived, I was told that the paperwork was not yet ready for me to sign, but that they would email it to me the next day and I could send the signed form back. If it could have been sent via email, then why wasn't this offered in the first place? The next day passed and I did not get an email, though someone did call me to say that they had lost my email address and that they would send it right away. By mid-day the next day, I still had not received the email and called the office to ask when to expect it. They said that it had been sent already, but I was looking at my email while I was on the phone and it was nowhere to be found. They ended up sending it about 15 minutes later. I got an email about a week before the estimated completion date saying that my car would be ready that afternoon at 3:00. Less than half an hour later, I got another email saying that my car was still on schedule and would be done on the estimated date, which was still a week off. I called the shop to double check and was informed that the second email was sent automatically and can be ignored and that my car was going to be ready at 3:00. I took off from work early because I needed to drive to the shop, check out my car and return my rental. When I arrived, Inwas told that they just needed to pull the car around front. Fifteen minutes later, Jose stops by and tells me that they were just cleaning it up real quick and noticed that one of the the tail lights wasnout and they would replace it and it would be right out. Another 15 minutes later and Jose comes back and tells me that the guy who was replacing the lightbulb broke the plastic housing on the tail light. So I basically missed out on a couple hours at work. I get a call the next day and Jose tells me that my car is ready to be picked up. I asked specifically if it was completely ready and he said, again, that it was just being cleaned up and would be about a half hour. Again, I leave work early in order to get to your shop before it closes. Same story... The car is being cleaned, will be up front in a minute. Twenty minutes later, my car is finally pulled up. I take a look at the repairs and don't see anything obvious in the way of mistakes or low-quality work. Jose offers to park my car while I return my rental. I come back and hop in the car and notice that the driver's side door, seat and dash are literally dripping with armor all, while the rest of the interior looked like it hadn't even been touched. For example, the center console had been splashed with a breakfast shake that was sitting in one of the cup holders at the time of the accident. Three weeks to get my car back to "good as new" condition and no one even bothered to clean the center console, but felt it was a good idea to spray half of the interior with armor all. Since I did not want to risk spending another hour at the shop, I decided to take the car home and clean it up myself. After cleaning the interior, I took a closer look at the paint, and while the overall finish looks pretty good... Possibly even a little better than factory... But I did notice a substantial run in the paint along the trunk lid and some rough edges where parts had been masked-off. As nice as it is to get my car back a week earlier than expected, unfortunately, it is easy to tell where the corners were cut and why the car was done a week earlier than anticipated. Between being repeatedly told that it would be ready at a specific time only to end up waiting around for the better part of an hour and having to come back, and then needing to clean my own car that was supposedly cleaned 2-3 times and finding rough paint edges... I'm disappointed.

In this last repair, I noticed a minor item after picking up my vehicle which Jose handled for me the next morning while I waited. Jose was an excellent handler of our claim with Amica Insurance. We enjoyed the almost daily updates on the progress of the repairs. We enjoyed interfacing with Jose on a professional level and it was a pleasant working relationship. I would highly recommend Jose and the front desk staff for their patience and thoughtfulness in dealing with a very stressful situation whenever it involves costly repairs and working with an insurance company. Loved all the updates that were sent via email. One thing I would suggest is if there is a change on the finish date, to send out the message earlier instead of the day after it was supposed to be done. Really happy with the work that was done on my car though!
