I am not happy with the paint job as it doesn’t match the quality of my car’s paint job. I also specifically pointed out the blemished headlamp to mark ogrady and told him I wanted it buffed out and ensure it was not damaged. The headlamp was not buffed, had condensation inside it, which had never been present before, and now a dead bug is laying inside the headlamp. I Did not receive any assurance that these issues would be fixed. Mackins had no problem charging my insurance company an additional $600 for parts and labor, but showed a lack of attention to detail when it came to the paint finish quality and to the headlamp. This has been a stressful and unsatisfactory experience.

I really appreciated the respect I recieved from all employees and the owner. Normally, since I am a woman, all auto related business are immediately put off and treat me like I can’t handle any of the information they throw at me. But Mackin’s Auto Body was extremely helpful and patient. Sounds silly. But it really mattered. They listened to all my questions and helped me understand. I know so many women that have had horrible experiences at other auto business where no one listened to them, they got ripped off, or were told “you don’t know what you’re talking about.”
