When I picked up the car on Saturday, Jan 7, the receipt said that only 3 miles had been driven since dropping the vehicle off. However, 5 miles had been driven. (The odometer read 32004,not 32002). It was very clear that whoever test drove the car didn't bother to listen as the car had a horrible, loud, reverberating noise. I had to bring the car back. One of the owners, Craig, checked out the noise on Monday and arranged for a repair. I brought it back on Jan 10. Happily, when I drove the car home at the end of the day, the noise was gone and the drive was much smoother. It's amazing what a bearing (and anything else?) can do. What didn't make me happy or satisfied was that an additional 40 miles had been driven. Who took my car and where did they take it? 40 miles!!! It doesn't take 40 miles to test drive the car and why wasn't the car test driven previously to discover the awful noise? I'm glad that Craig ultimately took care of the problem, but I should not have had to bring it back and there shouldn't have been a 40-mile ride with my car.
