I could not be more thrilled with the work Star did on my truck. The fact they were able to provide me with a factory windshield over the after market option was what will always set them apart from the other auto body shops I could have gone to. If anything in the future was to happen to my vehicle, I will be returning to Star.

I wanted to give feedback about my auto clam and the shop that repaired my vehicle. I also have a few repair issues that need to be addressed. Repair: Several times I would get email updates from Star Auto Body stating the progress of my repair, At one point I was emailed that the care was 90% complete however when I drove to the shop to look at the progress of the repairs the vehicle seemed to not have any significant repair done. Later that same week an extension was requested by Star Auto Body to complete the repair. This caused a problem with the rental car and a vacation planned in anticipation of the car being completed on its original repair date. A second extension was requested by Star Auto Body a few days later. The change request was not the issue, however after picking up my car on Saturday I noticed several things that made me believe that the job was rushed to finish. When I picked up the Traverse on Saturday 4/****/2016 I inspected the car and noticed small things went unnoticed. ****. The panel under the dash was missing a push tab and was hanging. 2. The battery ground was not completely screwed in which could have been a hazard if it came off while driving. 3. The passenger side heating does not work after driving the car over the weekend. When the heat is on the front passenger vent only blows cold air (it worked before the accident)

Star auto body has a fabulous reputation. Everyone was very professional, accommodating and friendly. The only piece of this process I did not understand was that my car sat on the lot for one week before it was 'taken down'. That's 7 days of a rental car at tax fees and licensing which may have been unavoidable anyway. It coincided with making my car **** day over the two year old mark as well, which in the long run made no difference. This was probably all unavoidable and easily explained away. In a perfect world my car would have been started within a couple of days and come in right on budget. We don't live in a perfect world but these elements did make me take notice. The work looks great, the car sounds the like it did before the accident, and seems to be driving well. So, my only suggestion is that you eliminate the word "completely " from your survey, unless I have written something here you believe can be helpful. Otherwise I have no complaints!
