I was told NOT to wax my car (trunk lid and surrounding components) so the paint could dry/cure. The trunk lid wasn’t even addressed in the repair process!! Though the damage is minor and superficial, surely it could have been addressed in the MORE THAN $7,000.00 claim submitted to AAA! Also. The studs used along the ridges of the trunk (under the lid) were gray, NOT black as they should be. When questioned, I was initially told they weren’t black. I knew/know otherwise!!! I was offered the option of having them painted! I declined. I took my car to Mercedes-Benz of Stockton and confirmed what I KNEW about MY CAR, and had them extract and insert the PROPER BLACK studs!
