ABRA Auto Body & Glass Donates $15,000 to the Primary Children’s Unit at Riverton Hospital

Christmas came early to a Sandy Utah Children's Hospital this week. ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a leading, national damaged-vehicle repair company, donated $15,000 from funds to the Primary Children’s Unit at Riverton Hospital. These funds were raised during ABRA’s inaugural Charity Golf Tournament. During a presentation ceremony, held on December 17, 2014, dozens of well-wishers, ABRA personnel, and Riverton Hospital staff were on hand to accept the check.

This is not the first time ABRA Auto Body & Glass has donated a substantial sum of money to a Children’s Hospital; this is only one of several events that ABRA Auto Body & Glass holds each year. Earlier this summer, over 100 golfers and their guests gathered at River Oaks Golf Course in Sandy, Utah for another ABRA Auto Body & Glass charity golf tournament – which was held in support of children, and the families enduring financial hardship at Riverton Hospital’s Primary Children’s Unit.

“It’s a wonderful thing for organizations in our community such as ABRA Auto Body & Glass to host charitable events that directly benefit children,” said Blair Kent, administrator at Riverton Hospital. “We’re grateful for ABRA and their partnership with us and for what this donation will do for our Primary Children’s Unit at Riverton Hospital.”

Greg Peeters, ABRA’s Market Vice President in Utah adds, “we are honored to support Riverton Hospital’s Primary Children’s Unit with their mission to provide health care to all children in the community. We are happy to contribute to a cause that supports the health of children in the community even when they are unable to pay for care.”

Since 1984, ABRA has been supporting charitable causes throughout the United States with similar core and common goals. The company has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities across the country.

About Intermountain – Riverton Hospital

Their mission is helping people live the healthiest life possible. At Intermountain, they believe financial circumstances shouldn’t dictate whether a person has access to basic medical needs. That’s why they provide assistance to those in the communities who are unable to pay for needed care.
